New Town Guest House is often praised for its beautiful and eclectic style, offering guests a comfortable and spacious stay; some even got the biggest room available and found it marvelous, with amenities like a coffee machine, tea kettle, hairdryer, and TV. Located in a lovely area, it's within walking distance of Stockbridge's artisan shops and restaurants, and about 25-30 minutes by foot from various tourist attractions. small room self check-in
the hotel had a very nice aesthetic i liked, private and peaceful.
my room was way too small, really. it felt overpriced at £300 for just two nights, especially because breakfast wasn't even included. a colleague booked a room at holiday inn last minute and it was cheaper including breakfast. plus, i didn't saw any staff , it was all self check in with the key left in a box.

small bathroom kettle problem
the room i got was too small. i felt a bit claustrophobic because two people barely moved around. making tea was a struggle, only one of us had space to move. the bathroom was also so small, i kept bumping into the sink when i tried to clean my teeth. filling the kettle directly from the tap was impossible, so i needed a cup.
