Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
I had a lovely stay at the hotel with clean and cozy rooms, and the incredibly friendly staff made me feel at home. The location was perfect for exploring Stockbridge and enjoying a peaceful night's sleep. While the dining experience was enjoyable, some aspects were marred by unpleasant visuals. Overall, great value for money.
The guest house is situated in a very nice district for architecture, shops, and art galleries, with fantastic brunch and dinner options nearby. The rooms were small but very cozy and comfortable, clean, and equipped with plenty of tea, coffee, and complementary water in the little fridge. The service was excellent, helpful, and cheerful, always willing to go that extra mile, although tempered by some art choices. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city center and a vibrant street full of nice shops. The dining experience was fab with lots of vegan and veggie options, beautifully laid out. The facilities are sufficient for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was great overall. The rooms, although on the small side, were not a massive issue for us during our two-night stay. We had no trouble navigating the room as a couple, especially with the large bed, big window, and plenty of space for two. However, the room next door's en-suite extension was technically in our room, which was a bit odd. The service by the hosts was amazingly friendly, and they were helpful in resolving any questions we had about the region and the history of Scotland. The location was fantastic, especially if you prefer being a bit out of town. We had a peaceful night's sleep and enjoyed the lovely view. The dining experience was lovely, offering really good coffee and a wide selection of cold meats and cheeses in the breakfast. The facilities were sufficient for our needs.
Our stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The location was peaceful and perfect for exploring nearby restaurants and shops, but it didn't fully meet our expectations considering the price paid. The service was friendly and helpful, making our experience enjoyable overall.
The hotel is located in a quiet residential area with a great breakfast, only a 20-minute walk to the city center. My overnight stay exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable with an intimate atmosphere, very clean bathroom, and beautiful views.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms had lovely touches and felt very welcoming and clean. However, being located a 20-minute walk from the center made it quite inconvenient, especially for me being 8 months pregnant. The breakfast was fantastic but the distance was a drawback.
